From the Saab 92, Saab has manufactured a lot more of cars, either for racing or for consumers. All of the cars that Saab produced has aerodynamic designs and presents innovative technologies. In 1990, General Motors bought 50 percent of the company’s shares and a decade later, General Motors officially acquired the entire company.
Now under General Motors, Saab presents a whole new line-up of luxury vehicles. Their cars are conventionally named by two numbers separated by a dash, from 9-2 to 9-7. The whole line-up of cars includes an AWD, a sports sedan, a sedan, a convertible, a sportwagon and an SUV. Like what the company is saying, their entire line-up of luxury cars doesn’t aim to be the mainstream cars. They aim their car line-up for the unconventional; for those who want to be different.
