Have you been a follower of the Land Rover G4 Challenge? If you are, then you certainly would be happy to note that this May 6th, the competition heats up and the contest gets underway.
This year, 20 individuals would be joining the challenge. They would have to do various activities like driving, running, biking, climbing, and kayaking. The Land Rover G4 Challenge would be taking place in Nevada. The contestants would have to deal with various challenges throughout four days of competition. Whoever wins this challenge would then be the representative of the US for the international Land Rover G4 Challenge which would be happening sometime next year in United Kingdom. Now, that would be really something.
Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki is the chair of Nevada’s Commission on Tourism and on the Land Rover G4 Challenge, he shared, “We can hardly wait to get this competition underway and showcase Nevada’s incredible recreational opportunities to a wide-ranging audience across the country and around the world.â€
Goodluck to all and may the best athlete win.

The 15 millionth Volvo unit has rolled off the plant just this February and it now belongs to Paul and Aimee Kay. The couple is proud of their acquisition and the company behind the vehicle is proud that they have been able to manufacture that much vehicles already. According to the company, the very first unit came out in April of 1927 and it was called the OV4. This OV4 is actually a convertible.
Now 80 years and 10 months later, Volvo sends out its 15 millionth vehicle, the C70, and yes, it is another convertible. Despite the years between the production of the two vehicles, the car maker has been able to create vehicles which would not only give you your needs and wants in a vehicle – it would also give you safety. And safety is something that Volvo has been very consistent with in their vehicles.
So this is Kudos to Volvo and to more vehicles from you!
Having children around the house is a happy but tiring experience. Looking at a child just takes away whatever problems you may have but making sure that they are alright and are healthy can be tiring.
The same thing applies to driving with kids. These children can create a real havoc on trips (especially long-distance trips). So what do you do? What should you do to keep them entertained during your trip?
One of the things that you should prepare is a box that holds things that children would love. Inside box, you can put in crayons and coloring books, and sheets of paper, and books. You can also put in toys that they can play with while traveling.
You can also plan some activities for the kids while they are in the car. You can play ‘Eye Spy’ or maybe even Tic Tac Toe. To make things more interesting, have some treats ready for the child who wins.
You would be really grateful for in-car entertainment systems which allow you to play your kids’ favorite songs or maybe even let them watch their favorite movies while they sit quietly in the rear.
