Volvo awards Pirates’ Volvo XC90 to Virginia resident

Volvo XC90Finally, the world’s first treasure hunt for a buried vehicle is over. David Hutz, a 30-year old resident of Herndon, VA, was the lucky finalist who emerged victorious and won the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed Volvo XC90. The new SUV was awarded to David after he outplayed six other finalists in Survivor-style challenges to complete the treasure hunt. David guessed the exact location of the buried vehicle enabling him to win the special $82,000 Volvo XC90.

Aside from the garish Pirates graphics, the new Volvo XC90 is powered by a V8-engine, has 20-inch custom wheels, black leather seating, a quad-tip Borta exhaust system and many more features and upgrades. Meanwhile, the other six chosen from over 52,000 contestants from all over the world, did not go home empty-handed as they were also given new vehicles by Volvo in a surprise move that drew loud cheers and wide smiles.
