The Chrysler Laser was a front-wheel drive, hatchback coupe introduced by Chrysler in the North American car market in 1983 as a 1984-year model. The car was based on a modified Chrysler K platform called the Chrysler AG platform. Basic design of the car was largely taken from the K-body based Plymouth Reliant and Dodge Aries. The car was basically the same as the Dodge Daytona except for a few minor styling details. And while the Dodge Daytona was sold longer, the Chrysler Laser was sold only until 1986 and was replaced by the Chrysler LeBaron coupe.

The Chrysler Laser is not an exceptionally bad car, especially as a used one. With its 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, rated at 93 hp for the base version and 142 hp for the turbocharged version, the Chrysler Laser would perform just as good as the Dodge Daytona. The car is fast and quick to accelerate, not to mention its other various qualities that makes it a fairly good car. Except for the typical front wheel drive handling problems experienced with most cars of its kind, there are no other problematic features you can see on the car.

Overall, the Chrysler Laser is a fairly good car, especially for a used one.
