The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud was Rolls Royce top vehicle from 1955 through 1966. It replaced the Silver Dawn but the design was based mostly from the Silver Dawn. It was equipped with a 4.9 liter 6 cylinder engine with four speed automatic transmission. With the overall size of the Silver Cloud it was the biggest in the ‘small’ series of the Rolls Royce. In 1959 the Silver Cloud II was introduced with only a minor change in the exterior. The engine was however changed to a 6.2 liter V8 engine. After three years the Silver Cloud III was released with better exterior dimensions, improved headlight, reduced weight and modified interior. The engine was also enhanced to offer better performance and speed even in tough driving conditions.
