Renault is a French company automaker that crafted the Renault R17. Production of the Renault 17 started in 1971 and continued until 1980. It is a coupe version patterned after the platform of the Renault 12. The spectators in the Paris Motor Show in October 1971 witnessed the unveiling of the Renault R17 together with the Renault R15.
