The 16 TS also carries new water temperature gauge, optional power windows, and 2 speed windscreen wipers. In 1973 the TX was introduced furnished with five speed manual transmission, power windows and central door locking. Unfortunately though, production of the Renault 16 was stopped in 1980 and its successor the Renault 20 was introduced.
