Pontiac is GMs brand for affordable performance oriented vehicles. Designed as a cross between a luxurious and standard vehicle, Pontiac offers inexpensive yet aggressive, deluxe and youthful cars. The Pontiac Torpedo is one of Pontiac’s lines of muscle car. The Torpedo S four-door sedan was first introduced in 1940 and in 1948 the Pontiac Torpedo S convertible coupe was introduced. The 1946 to 1948 Pontiac Torpedo was built with a 6 or 8 cylinder 3.9 liter or 4.1 liter engine. This type of engine offers superb horsepower and torque that enables the Torpedo to function superbly even in poor driving conditions. Riders also experience ergonomic and comfortable ride with the interior design of the Torpedo. The upholstery and accessories are comfortably crafted to make every riders ride as cozy as possible. Drivers also have a better view of the road with the mirrors and front components of the Torpedo.
