The Datsun B210 is more popularly known as one of the line-ups of Nissan Sunny, which was manufactured in Japan, launched in 1965 and still is in production up to today mainly for the Asian, African and American markets. In the United States, the Nissan B210 is called the Nissan Sentra. This name is also used on some European export versions of the Nissan Pulsar during the years 1986 and 1995. Somehow it is still used on some Asian export version of similar car.
There’s little information available about this type of car, however, owners usually says that this car is very reliable, simple and easy to work on. Has great fuel mileage, the only problem you’d encounter in this model is the aging which means minor damages only but that could be fixed easily.
In some parts, the B210 series was exported as the Datsun 120Y and Datsun B210 in the US. It was actually first introduced in 1974 and was a replacement for the Datsun 1200. It is the most fuel efficient Datsun during the mid-70’s. The B210 was sold in 3 body styles, a 2 door Sedan, a 4 door sedan and a 2 door coupe. The top level model of the Datsun B210 is the Datsun B210GX which has a slightly better trim package and a 5 speed transmission instead of the standard 4 speed. One other option in the B210 model was the Honey Bee, which was basically a yellow car having a bee sticker on its side. It was last produced in 1978 and was replaced by the Datsun 210 in 1979.
Although small in built, comments about it seats are fine and that somehow it is comfortable. One can even use its back seat as double bed for camping (with the hatchback model). Odd looking but that’s what makes it unique from all the other models. It’s cute, efficient, quick and dependable. When modified, this car would be able to run better than ever.
