From late 1960’2 to early 1970’s, the Mazda Corporation had developed a vehicle that has a rotary engine which is finally become a trademark of the company. The Mazda R100 is the only vehicle that is made from 2 different models. The chassis is some what similar from the Familia vehicle and the rotary engine is also similar to the one used on Cosmo Sports Series. This vehicle is a 2 door coupe vehicle that is produced from 1968 to 1973. It was one of the first and official vehicles that were imported into the United States that is sold in 1971 and 1972.
