Early generation Mitsubishi Delica was featured as a lightweight commercial cab-over pickup which soon was joined by a cargo van and passenger van. Designed to accommodate nine persons, the passenger trim was named as the Delica Star Wagon. The introduction of the Star Wagon paved way to the creation of ten more trims of different passenger and cargo vans, as well as a number of recreational applications. And at this point, Mitsubishi van offered a four-wheel drive as an option. When 1986 came, it received major changes. It’s aerodynamics was improved, and its pampered with lots of safety features for optimum recreational travels. Dingo is another van created by Mitsubishi in the early years. But unlike the Delica, this one hasn’t able to last long in the market. Mitsubishi Mirage Dingo lived only from 1998, and was dropped in 2003.
