A smooth sailing sport utility vehicle with a bold new look – that’s Mitsubishi Endeavor. It is a mid-size sport-ute made by Mitsubishi Motors in the platform of Mitsubishi Galant’s North American edition. Debuting in early 2004, Mitsubishi Endeavor is just like an Outlander that’s based on Lancer and it comes with an optional all-wheel-drive system. The 2004-2006 Montero was slotted between small Outlander and large Montero. It has replaced the Montero after model year 2006.
Being Mitsubishi’s mid-sized crossover SUV, Endeavor seats five persons with ample room either in front or rear seats. Despite of its rugged look, the Endeavor is engineered to be more like a car. This model handles so well and it provides its owners smooth and comfortable ride. For 2006, Endeavor came in two trim levels – the Limited and the LS. Each of the two models is offered with all wheel drive or front wheel drive. They are motorized by a 3.8-liter V6 cranking out 225 horsepower and teamed with four speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shifting ability.
Talking about its dimension, the Endeavor is built in a 109-inch wheelbase and it has an overall length of 90 inches. The LS model was loaded with normal power accessories and outfitted with CD player and MP3 playback, 17-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel controls, full-size spare tire, roof rails, intermittent rear window washer, remote entry and remote tailgate release. The Limited edition added premium cloth seats with power for the driver’s seat, power sunroof , cross bars for the roof rails, fog lights, alarm, cargo cover and 315-watt MPS-capable sound system with six-disc CD changer.

All of the 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavors were outfitted with dual-stage frontal airbags and front-seat-mounted side-impact airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, seat belts, tire-pressure monitor and traction control.
