MG is a British manufacturer of sports cars that was established in 1924. Its name came from Morris Garages, a dealer of Morris automobiles in Oxford. Though it also produced coupes and saloons, this company is best-known from making two-seat open sports cars. The MGA model of MG was introduced in 1955. It brought a slight shock to the MG fans that have been used to the pre-war appearance of the Mg sports cars. It was said to be a total departure in styling for MG.

This style doesn’t just put the driver and the passenger in a rational position but also brought in the benefit of lowering the center of gravity which further enhanced the car’s cornering ability. Shortly after its initial production, the MGA engine was upgraded from 68 bhp to 72 bhp.
