The term “Merkur” means Mercury in German language. As expected, the Merkur brand of cars was manufactured by German manufacturers and were sold and serviced by the Ford Motor Corporation. Merkur is a brand of automobiles marketed by Ford in the US and Canada in the mid-1980s.
