By 1963, the W 198 SL-Class was replaced by the R107 SL Class in the year 1972. All of the models sport an inline 6-cylinder engine featuring multiple port fuel injection. It utilizes the application of a mechanical pump system, which is modified from diesel motors. Every W113 cars are rear-wheel drive rides, but it also comes with an independent rear suspension system, a factor that superbly enhances road handling.
