Continental Mark was the vehicle created under Lincoln marque and developed in the Lincoln-Mercury division. The engineers of Ford Motor Company worked in building this concept in the Wixom, Michigan factory plant in North America. In its first release, Continental Mark proved its worth and slotted on top level of personal luxury car market. Due to that success, the division decided to extend its horizon, and continued its existence as a series.

After every generation of Continental Mark, the platform constantly transforms. From the first edition Continental Mark III noticeable stylish concept was present.
