The Lincoln is a rear wheel luxury car, launched as an early 1999 model. As Lincoln’s competitor in the high-class sports sedan segment, expect superior driving satisfaction from the LS. Starting with its elegant exterior styling highlighted by the Lincoln trademark, the waterfall grille, handsome set of 17-in 6-spoke chrome aluminum wheels offered in five designs, halogen headlamps and fog lamps with complex reflector design. Wait till you turn the key on and you’ll realize its beauty is not just skin-deep. Powering this luxury car is a silent but very potent 3.9 L V8 engine that delivers 252 horsepower. Also available is a 215-hoespower V6 that is offers almost the same level of performance and refinement.

Fine driving continuous inside with its plush appointments and state-of-the-art equipments. Different interior trims are offered for different models. The V-6 Luxury got a black-lacquer trim, the V-8 sport got aluminum accents, and the V-6 Premium and V-8 Ultimate got American walnut burl wood trim. Lincoln LS comes with leather bucket seats with memory function that takes note of three different seat settings and automatically adjusts the seat for the driver. Its premium sound system includes a cassette, CD player and high-standard speakers. Volume is controlled with the steering wheel and/ or the speed of the vehicle. The LS V-6 Appearance Package, V-8 Sport, V-6 Premium and V-8 Ultimate models are equipped with a high-tech navigation system that features a DVD mapping with Global Positioning System technology.

Other features of the Lincoln LS are the dual-zone climate control system with filtering function that is capable of cleaning 90 percent of the dust, pollens and small particles. Heated seats are offered as options and they are arranged in theater-style, which provides the rear passengers better view of the road. A much clearer view is provided by its high quality automatic windshield wipers that clear the windshield when moisture is detected. Making the ride more convenient for the driver is the electronic message center that is perfectly positioned for easy access. A center console has a wide storage and cup holders for your added convenience.
