International has been one of the successful manufacturers of trucks, school buses, SUVs and pickups over the years. One of its creations is the International Travellall that was first introduced in the 1960s. The Travellall is one of the early pickup truck produced by International with size and execution almost similar to the Chevy Suburban. Great seats, side windows, better tailgate and liftgate design were incorporated to make the International Travellall a superb driving machine. Two-door Travellall was available from 1953 to 1957 and from 1957 to 1960 Travellall had already three doors with the A-line. The four-door travellall with the C-100 model was only available from 1961 to 1975.

The Travellall is also characterized with hoisted roofs and expanded wheel bases. Engines available in the 1950s were six cylinder 220 and 392 V8 engine in 1970. 3, 4 or 5 speed manual or automatic transmission was also available. Unfortunately, the production of the Travellall was discontinued in 1975. But overall, the International Travellall is a nice, roomy vehicle that offers every driver a comfortable riding experience. Its engine application can provide great power and superb torque every time it is on the road.

Overall, the International Travellall did every thing to make a ride as exhilarating as possible. It offers fuel economy, convenient, reliable and safe driving experience. Anyone who has experienced the power of the International Travellall can say that it is one of the ultimate driving machines on the road. But of course, proper maintenance is still needed to keep this vehicle always in top running condition.

There are however several downsides of this vehicle. For one, since it is IHC vehicle rust is common to it. When rust occurs the parts will easily wear out and lose its function. Second is that they get only about eight miles per gallon of fuel in the metropolis and about twelve in the highway. But in spite of these drawbacks a regularly inspected and properly maintained International Travellall can still last for thousands of miles. When some of the components though deteriorate it is important that you secure replacement as soon as possible to avoid having the rest of the parts damaged.
