Infiniti G20 The G20 is a premium compact car which came from Nissan’s up scale division, Infiniti. It is their entry level to this arena for 1991. They marketed it as a semi-luxury car that came with features that could be an option for other compact sedans but came standard with them. It was a car that was very comfortable yet affordable. The G20 had a successful run until its abrupt hiatus after its 1996 model. Nissan's luxury division re-launched its front-drive, near-luxury compact sedan for 1999, after a three-year hiatus. It was slightly larger than before, with sleeker styling, the second-generation G20 sported 2.4 inches more of rear leg room. Under the hood was a slightly revised version of the original 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 140 horsepower. Either a manual gearbox or optional four-speed automatic transmission could be installed.

Two trims were offered and they were the Base and sportier Touring (G20t) models. The Touring edition added a rear spoiler, fog lights, limited-slip differential, automatic climate control, and slightly lower-profile tires (of the same 15-inch diameter). The G20t also got a seat fabric that had more grip. An optional Leather and Convenience package included leather upholstery and automatic climate control.
