Current models of the Ford Freestar are available in five trim levels, namely the S, SE, SES, SEL and Limited trim levels. Standard engine for the S, SE and SES trim is a 3.9 liter V6 engine that outputs 193 hp of power and 240 lb-ft of torque. The upper SEL and Limited trims are equipped with a more powerful and larger 4.2 liter V6 engine, by far the largest ever used in a minivan. This other engine outputs power rated at 201 hp and a torque of 263 lb-ft. Standard transmission unit for both engines is a 4-speed automatic shift.

By its look, one could easily mistake it for the old Ford Windstar, but if you take a look on its interior and its performance, you can say that it is a whole new vehicle.
