The Ferrari F50 is an expensive car that only a few can afford. But this driving machine is a bit costly because it is well-appointed. Yes, the F50 is fully-equipped with all the things you need in a vehicle. The history of this vehicle began in 1990 when Ferrari nearly experienced the Formula One World Championship with Alain Prost driving. It was at this instance when Piero Ferrari started his plan to take one Formula One car from Ferrari and design a new and fresh supercar which becomes the Ferrari F50.
Known as the super exotic, high-performance car, the Ferrari F50 was launched in 1995 which is clearly in a class. It was a 2-door, two seat convertible sports vehicle that comes with a removable top. The interior of the Ferrari F50 though are not that high-tech enough. There in no sound system, though it’s not really noticeable, air conditioning is outfitted, but it can be justified as necessary interior equipment, the glass side windows are manual, same as the two seat adjustments, and there is no air bag. Then again, the F50 is designed not to brag about good looks but performance.
The Ferrari F50 can brag its supreme power and performance. On the road, the Ferrari F50 is very established. It can reach speeds of 200mph and it can accelerate to 60mph in just about 3.8 seconds. The reason behind this power? The huge tires and down force that is generated by the big rear spoiler. And if the Ferrari F40 runs fast, the Ferrari F50 runs faster. Thanks to the F50’s improved chassis. There’s just one flaw, the F50’s engine is so highly tuned so it only allows less room for modifications unlike the turbocharged F40.
This is the reason why Ferrari used the F40 as their GT racer but if truth be told, the Ferrari F50 is far faster than the Ferrari F40. And over all, the Ferrari F50 is a remarkable car, that is beyond doubt. When you think of Ferrari F50, it is definitely one supercar, infused with tough and durable auto parts.
