This car is basically a modified or redesigned version of the Mitsubishi Mirage. The Vista became available as a 4-door sedan as well as a 3-door hatchback. As a sedan it has a separate hood for the engine and a separate compartment for the cargo in the rear. For the hatchback design, the car has a passenger cabin with a cargo space behind that can be accessed in the rear by means of a tailgate or flip-up window. The hatchback body style consists of a 157.3 wheelbase and the sedan has 169.1. For both body styles, there is only one kind of engine made available and this is the 1.5 L14. For the transmission, the driver has two options available – 5-speed manual or the 3-speed automatic.
