The Dodge Dynasty is a good practical vehicle, and aside from that it may be nothing more. These are what the critics said, and the people happened to believe. A large car, the critics must probably have expected too much for powerful all-around performance.

The Dodge Dynasty is one of the first two cars manufactured by Chrysler using the AC body type. It was introduced by Chrysler together with the Chrysler New Yorker in 1988. The two looks basically the same except that the Dodge Dynasty came less equipped and had a lower sticker price. Aside from these, the two cars are basically the same, sharing the same chassis, body panel elements and mechanical parts.

The Dodge Dynasty was a rather large mid-size sedan. Upon introduction, it was available in two trims: base and LE. It came standard with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission while optional is a 3.0 liter V6 and 4-speed automatic shift. Later in 1990, a new engine option came as a 3.3 liter V6, but it was only available for the LE trim.

For much of its short history, the Dodge Dynasty remained as it appeared in 1998. Chrysler did not give it any major redesign except for the added engine option and a new dashboard design for 1990. The last Dodge Dynasty rolled off the production line in 1993 and was later replaced by the Dodge Intrepid.

The Dodge Dynasty wouldn't give you the performance that is expected of a large sedan. Any of the engine option would give you an average performance. But the Dodge Dynasty is practical in every way. It can seat a maximum of six passengers and has an interior that offers its passengers with much head space and leg room.

For practical people, the performance of the Dodge Dynasty may be good enough. But for the sporty types, they may not be contented with the performance of the car. Whatever type of person you are, we're sure you'll love your Dodge Dynasty even better if you equip it with the Dodge Dynasty parts found here at Parts Train. Parts Train has a wide selection of high quality and high performance auto parts that can further enhance the performance of your Dodge Dynasty.
