Founded by Walter Chrysler on June 6, 1925, the Chrysler Corporation is an automobile producer located in the United States. But in 1998, it was merged with the Daimler-Benz and the company name was changed into DaimlerChrysler. In as early as 1966, Chrysler graced the race track with legendary line of inexpensive but high-performance vehicles such as Plymouth Roadrunner, Dodge Charger and Plymouth Barracuda. These models became successful in the racing arena, boosting Chrysler's name in car engineering.

In the mid-1970s, Chrysler's entry in the personal luxury market, the Chrysler Cordoba gained striking success. However, the restyled subcompact didn't become that successful and problems abroad were increasing. And in 1977, Chrysler Europe was essentially closed. It is in early 1990s when Chrysler attempted to take strides back into Europe. The car production was set up in Austria. Jeep, Dodge Ram, Dodge Viper and Plymouth Prowler and the "cab-forward" front-drive sedans remained popular in the domestic market, placing Chrysler in a strong position. In 2001, the company decided to stop the production of the Plymouth brand. And to recover from financial shortage, the company implemented cost-cutting through sharing of platform and auto components. The first product of this program is the Chrysler Crossfire.

Another automobile produced by Chrysler is the Conquest. Available in TSI trim, Conquest is outfitted with 2.6L 188 horsepower I4 engine mated with standard 5-speed manual overdrive transmission. This engine has an EPA rating of 18 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. Conquest runs extremely fast, outperforming many cars in its class. Its acceleration and handling make this car a lot of fun to drive and its turbo version I among the fastest 2.6L turbo production car in the industry.

Chrysler Conquest comes equipped with standard power amenities such as power windows and door locks; standard interior features like cassette player, cruise control, tachometer and tilt steering; and standard alloy wheels, rear window defogger and ABS brakes. Enticing options include 4-speed automatic overdrive, sunroof, air conditioning and leather seats. Riding in a 95.90-inch wheelbase, Conquest is built to accommodate five adults. It comes with an overall length of 173.2 inches and an overall width of 66.30 inches.
