The Cadillac series 70 was narrowed to three major models according to its generation in the production date: the 36-70, the 36-75, and the 36-75 Commercial. The 36-70 was built with a wheelbase of 131 and 206.25 overall lengths, the 36-75 with 138 wheelbases and 213.5 overall lengths, and the 36-75 Commercial with longer 156 wheelbases and 213.5 overall lengths. All these three basic models shared the same engine and three-speed transmission, although minor body changes were seen with the 1937 production.
