Buick pronounced as “B-yoo-ick”, is a branch of General Motors Corporation which is built in the United States, Canada and China. This brand was established as an independent car company in May 19, 1903 by David Dunbar Buick. The company did not succeed in David Dunbar Buicks management so it was taken over by James Whiting who turned over the management to William C. Durant. Under Durant’s tutelage, the company expanded and became one of America’s largest car manufacturers. Aside from Buick, Duran also purchased other corporations which he called General Motors. Each division was to target one class of buyer and Buick’s target was designed to capture customers who go for semi-luxury vehicles.

But aside from this, a standard 4-speed transmission is provided as well. In 1977 a highly developed suspension system was also incorporated in the Buick Opel to provide more convenience when driving. In this year the driver has the choice in the transmission whether it’s a 4-speed or a 5-speed one. It has also been outfitted with highly sophisticated interior seats, carpeting and linings that would appeal to almost anyone.
