General Motors is now the world's largest automaker in the world because of its acquisition of various renowned car brands. Buick is one in the Gm marquee. This started as an independent company way back in the early 1900's. One of the remarkable creations of this company was the Buick LeSabre which is categorized as a full-size car. This car is said to be the only car in the Buick line up to have the lowest base price when put up in the market. This car came after the Buick Special from 1959 until 2005.

A few years after its first release, the Buick LeSabre was offered in all kind of body styles. But in 1965 until 1975 the station wagon body style was removed from their list and in 1977 it was trimmed down and started to produce them only as a coupe, sedan and station wagon. Upon its introduction the market in 1965, the LeSabre there were two types of trim available for it. A LeSabre 400 package was available wherein it carries a 3-speed automatic transmission and a small V8 engine that has a 4-barrel carburetor. In 1970 however, this package did not last long because in 1974 there was a new performance package offered that showcases upgraded engine and suspension.

This car has undergone a lot of changes and improvements from when it was first introduced. The most recent 2004 Buick LeSabre is even more equipped with better engine — a 3.8 liter that can produce 205 hp. This is now a 4-speed automatic transmission for easier road handling. Aside from having better technical details, the new LeSabre is also given a sportier and modern look — a sure winner and eye-catcher wherever you go.
