Available powerplants for the Afetta are two four-cylinder DOHC engines, having a pair of valves in each cylinder. A turbo Diesel engine from VM Motori also became available. Finally, the Alfetta came to rest when a final major facelift was made in 1984. It was then renamed as the Alfa 90 to conform the new naming system.
