The Acura Vigor was a mid-size sedan produced between 1992 and 1994. This Acura model was based from the Acura Accord sedan, which was marketed two years earlier. The Vigor, however, sits on a longer wheelbase and has a frameless door glass. Also unique about this car is that it carried a 5-cylinder longitudinal (front-to-back) engine rather than transverse type of engine. It is fitted with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. There are two level trims available for the Acura Vigor: the base LS and the upscale GS. Both came with standard antilock brakes and driver-side airbags.

Few modifications were made to the succeeding Acura Vigor models, which include passenger-side airbag, modified automatic gearbox, redesigned grille, sound insulation, and standard CD player. It was soon replaced by the Acura TL in 1995. Although the Vigor lasted only for a short time in the auto market, it was not at all a bad car.
