It comes with an impressive sound system with 6 speakers, AM/FM, CD and cassette. Under the hood, the SLX remains consistent on being a sports vehicle. It carries a 3.5 L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that generates enormous 215 horses and 230 lbs-ft of torque. Perfectly mated with the engine is a 4-speed automatic transmission, which has power and winter modes. The first mode sets upshifts higher, allowing faster acceleration while the second mode starts the vehicle in the third gear to improve traction and control on icy or slippery surfaces.
