There are a lot of auto components installed in a single vehicle, and most of these components perform a very specific and important function. There are parts that allow various other parts of the vehicle to move, like the engine and the various motors that are part of the mechanical and electrical system of the vehicle. There are also those parts that aid in maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, like the mud guards, fender flares, carpets, floor mats and others. Still, there are some auto parts that seem to have no function at all. These parts, however, are installed in the vehicle so that the various other parts would function properly.

One of the important systems a vehicle is equipped with is the windshield wiper system—a system composed of parts just like the ones described above. The windshield wiper system is basically made up of a windshield wiper motor, windshield wiper arms and windshield wiper blades. The windshield wiper motor is probably the most important component, allowing the system to move and clean the windshield. The windshield wiper blades would be the next, as it is the main component that gets in contact with the windshield.

While the windshield wiper arm may not serve a particular purpose in cleaning the windshield of the vehicle, it is nonetheless an important component. Without the windshield wiper arm, the windshield wiper system wouldn't be able to function at all. The wiper arm links the motor to the blades, allowing the blades to move through and clean the windshield.

Not too functional as they may seem, they are still integral parts of a vehicle; and that's reason enough for BMW to provide their vehicles with high quality BMW windshield wiper arms.
