The Dodge Grand Caravan’s power windows have a lot to do with you and your family’s safety. Primarily, power windows are automatically controlled by a small electrical motor called the window motor. It then revs up the window regulator that lifts or lowers the window glass in its frame through the use of a worm gear and spur gears that lock themselves together through the teeth in the spur gears, thus disallowing the power windows to open. With power windows, your kids who enjoy fumbling with the power windows will be kept out of harm because although they try to close the windows and then left their fingers in between the closing windows and the window frame, the power windows will not close when something is blocking its path.
