Is it time to replace your Infiniti weather stripping?  Brittle, cracked, broken weather stripping is the leading cause of leaky windows and leaky trunks.  Once you’ve inspected your weather stripping, it’s now time to determine if you’re going to replace it yourself or replace it with the help of a professional.  If you decided to do the work yourself, great!  You will be saving a lot of money in labor fees.  Pull off the old weather stripping carefully.  Use cleaning solvents and rags to scrub off the old adhesive.  Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying your new weather stripping.  If you don’t make the surface completely clean, you may be stuck doing the whole project over.  It is a good idea to apply your weather stripping on a warmer day rather than a cooler one because the heat will help the adhesive stick to the surface better.
