The towing mirror is not a standard automobile mirror but rather an accessory mirror that can be added for extra functionality.

As the name suggests, towing mirrors are used for towing trailers and loads. Towing mirrors are commonly used in pickup trucks that are used for towing trailers. Towing mirrors can be snapped on existing side mirrors. A towing mirror can be slid out to serve as extension of the existing mirror, allowing the driver to see the trailer more clearly.
