Honda Side Reflectors |
Why do we install lights on our car? There are various reasons why we do so and foremost of which is safety. Driving especially at nighttime is very dangerous since you don’t get to see the road clearly as well as the surroundings. Risks of getting hit by another vehicle, colliding into another car or an object and hitting a pedestrian are high. Thus, the law requires that every vehicle must be equipped with necessary lights. But most cars nowadays come standard with other kinds of lights for extra visibility and safety. Some still have reflectors on the front, the back and the sides of the car.
Reflectors, unlike auto lights, do not emit bright light but they too enhance the car’s visibility as they reflect light. They may be mounted on the bumper, around the grille, and near the taillights. Those located on the fender, at the outer edges of a wrap-around bumper and anywhere on the side body panel of the vehicle are called side reflectors. They function like side marker lights, which also have plastic covering. Through the side reflectors, those who can view the side of the vehicle can easily spot your car as it moves down the road.
Larger vehicles are the ones usually equipped with side reflectors since the side of these vehicles like trucks, vans and buses are not usually equipped with lights. Side reflectors are used instead of auto lights so others can see the vehicle as it passes through the road. However, side reflectors can also be mounted on smaller autos like passenger cars, SUVs, minivans and compact trucks. If you have a Honda car and you want to enhance your car’s safety, you can have side reflectors installed on your car. You can have these reflectors for aesthetic purposes as well. Improve your Honda car’s safety at the same time add style to your car by adding reflectors at the sides of your car.
