The Honda Civic sealed beam aside from having a glass lens also contains all the components which are reflector, a filament and the glass lens as one unit. Basically, you have to replace the whole headlight even if it is just the bulb that’s not working. On the other hand, the wear and tear of the Honda sealed beam is not so fast because being enclosed in one glass unit immunes them from dirt, moisture and other elements that can seep through the composite headlight. But, does that mean that the bulb inside the sealed beam will not get exhausted and wear down or that collision could not happen. These things will then make replacement necessary.
