The sound produced by racing cars is very much different from the sound produced by an ordinary street car. If you have experienced watching car race you would probably become deafened by the sound produced by the rushing speed of the race cars. The engine sound can be minimized through a device that is mounted in the exhaust system of your Jeep. This device called a muffler is a tube-like in shape and is usually made of stainless steel. The Jeep muffler or silencer is considered to be the exhaust system of the engine designed to reduce noise and minimize exhaust emissions. The Jeep muffler is usually composed of a back box with one or more tailpipes. It is commonly located underneath the car or at the rear mounted along the exhaust pipe of the engine.
