Triumph Heater Core

It is hard to drive through a snow storm because of reduced visibility and cold temperature. It is dangerous because you might be trapped or encounter an accident. You may also develop a frost or hypothermia. Cold temperature can affect your judgment and reflex action. You should be grateful if your vehicle has a functioning internal climate control system. The internal climate control system will allow you to maintain a comfortable level of temperature and humidity regardless of the weather condition outside your vehicle. Most automobiles are self-contained environments that are isolated from the outside weather. The doors and windows when closed maintain this isolation. However, this isolation is only to a certain degree.

The living compartment of the vehicle is only isolated from the outside conditions in terms of air flow and humidity. The isolation is not absolute. If the vehicle does not have an internal climate control system, it would be at the mercy of the temperature outside. The body paneling may prevent some heat from escaping or entering, but it cannot totally protect the vehicle living compartment from temperature extremes. Heater cores such as the Triumph heater core enable you to maintain a warm temperature inside the vehicle even if the temperature outside is already at freezing point.

Automobile radiators and heater cores have similarities in terms of operations. Both the heater core and automobile radiator utilize the heat from the engine block. A coolant circulates both in the heater core and the automobile radiator to transfer the heat from the engine block. The automobile radiator and heater core have their respective fan that blows air on their surfaces. Coolant circulation is facilitated by separate centrifugal pumps. However, the similarities between the heater core and automobile radiator are only limited to the operating principles. When it comes to the purpose and functions, the two components are different.

Automobile radiators are part of the cooling system of the engine. A heater core, on the other hand, is part of the internal climate control of the vehicle. A heater core has an electric fan (also known as blower) that blows air on its surface to allow the circulation of hot air. The integrated radiator core and blower is what is known as the heater. It is located on the dashboard of the vehicle. It is particularly useful during cold seasons. You simply have to turn on the blower to allow the warm air to circulate from the heater core. Installing or replacing a defective heater core is simple. You can order reliable and high-quality heater core here at Parts Train.
