Maserati Heater Core

Did you realize that your heater is actually engineered for cooling an engine? It is built with a heat exchanger referred to as your Maserati Merak heater core. It's basically a small radiator. The main purpose of this component is to create hot air from the hot coolant entering its pipes. Heat your heater core creates is used in warming the cabin.

Generally, the Maserati Merak heater core is situated behind the control panel. It is actually made from both brass or aluminum tubes inside a protective coating of fins. The heater core is equipped with tubes that are for receiving and discharging coolant. You can control the warm air coming out of this heater core through flipping the heater knob on the climate control of the car.
