Acura Head Gasket

Cars of today came equipped with an engine block and a cylinder head that bolts on top. Between these components is the head gasket – a very crucial seal in the automotive engine but left unnoticed. Yes, most car owners overlooked their car head gasket. Head gaskets exist to fill the space between the cylinder head and the engine block. To be able to avoid leakage between the cylinder head and the engine block while under compression, the head gasket should maintain that seal. Before the damage to the head gasket can be detected, a series of tests need to be done. Common symptoms of a blown head gasket includes foaming, bubbling, or gargling in the radiator, rapid pressure buildup in the cooling system, before the engine has warmed up, and the like. Sometimes, coolant spilling over from the reservoir bottle because of the pressure happens. Other signs include white smoke coming from the tailpipe, oil in the coolant, cylinder pressure low when using both the wet or dry compression method and all that.
