Toyota, it is a name easily recognizable. They have established themselves as a vehicle manufacturer that has extreme dedication for product superiority in all aspects, from performance, to comfort and to safety. They produce all sorts of vehicles for land and engines for others. They nearly cover all the segments in the automobile industry with vehicles ranging from, pickup trucks, to SUV’s, to sedans, sports cars and luxury vehicles. All of them installed with the Toyota guarantee of excellence.
One of the main part and accessory that a Toyota vehicle possesses is a Toyota fog light. Although not all their vehicles are installed with one, mostly trucks, SUV’s and the sporty cars, looking for one and installing them are relatively easy. But what is a Toyota fog light? Toyota Fog lights are auxiliary lights used to pierce through dense fogs for better visibility. They are usually placed in the front to assist low beam headlights since high beams have the tendency to just bounce off from the light causing blindness to the driver.
The Toyota fog lights you choose should be complimentary to your low beam headlights, with a few bad-weather specific differences. Good fog lights have a narrow vertical beam; that is, they illuminate the roadbed in front of the vehicle. Anything higher would be futile since they would just reflect back on to the vehicle. So rationally, fog lights should be installed as low on the bumper as is practical. Often you'll see fog lights mounted below the bumper or some integrates them with the bumper through custom made bumpers. It is recommended to take into consideration the height of your vehicle. If you have a lowered Toyota sports car, placing them below the bumper is a great risk since they would easily be susceptible to damage. If you have a four by four, you could place them below the bumper but make sure they are well protected. Also, it is best to take into consideration the distance apart of your Toyota Fog lights. Putting them too close in the center will just decrease the coverage; it is better if they are placed directly in the line below of the headlights. It would be good to consider though that every person has different driving needs. You do not need to place the Toyota fog light where everyone is placing them. Consider what would be very beneficial for you and install them there.
