It is composed of a flywheel, a clutch plate, a pressure plate, a set of studs, diaphragm spring, throw out bearing, clutch housing, release fork, and bell housing. They are interconnected with each other through the bar of the clutch plate and mounted between the engine and the transmission. The assembly is then made accessible to the driver through the clutch pedal that is found at the leftmost leg under the steering area, separated from the other two pedals, the acceleration and the brake.
The Renault clutch works when you apply pressure on the clutch pedal. When this happens, a hydraulic piston cable pushes the release fork in. This pushing presses the throw out bearing against the middle of the diaphragm spring, which pulls the pressure plate away from the clutch disc. This act then disengages the clutch from the engine and allows you to shift gears, accelerate while moderately releasing the clutch pedal until it is completely released to engage with the engine again.
