If you want to have a total control in driving, then use a vehicle with manual transmission. Vehicles operated with manual transmission lets you feel as if your arms are extended to the road. Every gear shifting is directed manually and gives off a powerful drive that seems to be restless. Isuzu vehicles with manual transmission add more excitement especially when going off-road driving.

Manual transmission which is also known as a stick shift, straight drive or standard transmission features a movable gear selector and a driver-operated clutch which allows the driver to select any gears at any time. The efficiency of manual transmission relies much on the clutch that connects the transmission to the engine. To be able to stop your vehicle without turning off the engine, the wheels have to be disconnected from the engine. The connection and disconnection of the engine and the transmission are done with the use of the clutch.

The Isuzu clutch is the device that allows transmitting of rotation, changing of vehicle’s gears and then brings back the connection between the engine and the transmission to turn together at a new speed. When you depress the clutch pedal, the power from the engine is transferred to the transmission and drives the wheels. As you release the clutch pedal, it stops the transfer of power and allows the engine to continue rotating without force to drive the wheels. The clutch may come in different designs but mostly are made of one or more friction discs that are pressed tightly to a flywheel using springs. Some designs of clutches use ceramic which has a greater friction coefficient but are prove not suitable to ordinary road cars because of its “grabby” action.

The Isuzu clutch is a component in making your Isuzu drive more powerful. Without the efficient mechanism of a clutch, chances are you will just end up being stuck in the middle of your ride. In the long run, you Isuzu clutch will start to fail. When this time comes, watch out for the common problems you may encounter such as the fading out of the friction material on the disc. If the friction material is wiped out then the clutch will begin to slip and eventually will cause you problem.

Proper maintenance of your Isuzu clutch should not be neglected. It should always be included as you or your mechanic performs the regular check up of your Isuzu vehicle. As soon as your Isuzu clutch starts to show signs of failures, the best thing to do is to drive your Isuzu to your mechanic and have it replaced properly. And the right place to purchase your Isuzu clutch is here at Parts Train.
