Vehicle bumpers, both the front and the rear, are integral vehicle body parts whose importance for the vehicle's safety simply can't be questioned. In particular, the bumpers absorb as much impact as they can in minor vehicle collisions so as to decrease the damage to the other auto parts and the occupants. But despite their importance in the vehicle, we still find a lot of vehicle owners who would simply remove the bumpers, most especially the rear bumper, of their autos. Why? Because they don't think it's stylish!

If styling is your only reason for removing your vehicle's bumpers, installing a bumper cover over the existing bumper would be a better remedy.
A bumper cover is a restyling accessory that fits over the stock front or rear bumper of a vehicle. Today, most bumper covers are made from thermoset plastic or thermoplastic materials and are sold either pre-painted or in black matte finish. Pre-painted bumper covers are generally recommended for those who want a more monochromatic look, although you need to give the dealer your car's exact paint information so that the bumper cover's color would exactly match those of your vehicle's. Black matte bumper covers, on the other hand, will fit the needs of those who want them plain and simple. Bumper covers in black matte finish may also suit the needs of those who want them repainted in a contrasting color.
