Since the brake pads come in contact with the rotors every time the driver uses the brakes, the rotors gradually fades, wears out and deteriorates as time goes by. Brake rotors are usually machined to remove the “glazed” surface that was formed during the continuous use and pulsations that is experienced by a warped brake rotor. Nevertheless, having the rotors machined over and over again can make the brakes unreliable and inefficient.
